I had a diamond black 1997 Motorsport II or atleast i think I did... :censored:

The current owner (a friend of mine) thinks its just a 318is with a bodykit. The reason he thinks this is because the BMW build sheet doesn't mention the motorsport.

But anyway I looked simply stunning in black, I fell in love with it when I saw it in the show room and I had her for 7 years and loved the handling and teh balance. The engine on the 318is is very light and sits almost completely behind the front wheels meaning that it handles really well. I used to race turbo'd corsas with it and down a straight around a circle and black again I could hold my own!! Just floot it around teh circle and its like its on rails.

My second favourite is white...

Beuatiful Condition!!! I have a '97 318is Auto, Standard Model, not the Motorsport, But I would have loved to have had mine as a motorsport edition. Its just such a cool car to look at. The poise, Stance and the lines, makes you want to drive!! I just wish I could get someone to help me get a little more power out of my car, 'cos being a auto it is a bit sluggish. Any help or suggestions will do. I just love my car,my red E36 318is, but I want a bit more oomph!!! Cheers!!

A shark fin aerial another 5Kw and an M3 badge will take you to 325vHp (virtual HP):bs:

I looked at getting some more out of the engine unfortunately it seems its not a popular motor with tuners and the general response I got from equiries about increase in power was: Buy a 325i... so I though screw you and bought the M coupe:thumbsup:

anyway its the same motor as used in the z3 1.8 so there is a super charger for it... only about R50,000 uninstalled but its low pressure so its a bolt on kit. I am pathalogically against turbos so did not even look that way.

I don't even think it has a cat that you can cut out.

Hey fanatics,

done some more "upgrades" to my car :)

Fitted the M3 front spoiler lip, IMO i think it makes any E36 look a kazillion times more sexy hey :

Now i am so desperate to get my hands on the splitters, just cant find them for cheap :banghead:

Then i added the last touch

I guess my next "upgrade" might be to blacken my grille - still not sure if i should change the original look - what do ya'll think?
