Silverbird, stop putting ideas in his head, he needs to get her tip - top mechanically first. No point in having a great looking car if it's going to leave him stranded...:hammerhead:

He made enough on the 330d

I can see what he is saying on the other forums :tiptoe: he has his own ideas

:sorry:

We will get to the looks department, just not right now. I would love to do both at the same time but the budget doesn't allow for it so important stuff first.

I guess Gizmo can't help the excitement. I can't either... but as Gizmo said, mechanics first. There will be enough time for the looks department.

Thanks for the ideas though, getting good feedback and ideas across the forums I'm part off. Like I said on the other forums, it's a daily so it needs to function. Will get onto the unnecessary bits later.

Yeah they do look stunning with a few choice oem mods.
The paintwork is good, had a blow over recently.
The headlights need replacement as the tabs that hold the indicators in place are broken. Side indicators are upside down. Oil leak between the engine and gearbox. Needs vanos seals. Needs new thermostat housing. Needs new radiator fan shroud. Steering wheel is worn down. OBC needs replacement. Needs new tyres all round. Non oem tools in the tool box. Missing the clip on oem goose neck towbar. Couple broken connectors in the engine bay. Vibration at highway speeds from the propshaft. That's all the faults I could find yesterday. All to be expected from a 18yr old car with 360 000km on the clock.

Got lots of "non essential" parts for this car if Arbee chooses to go that route sooner rather than later...

Took a drive to PTA to visit my sister this evening. That vibration is bad at 125km/h.

Service and brakes to add to the list above. Which is main priority. Working on the Tyres already.

Yes the service and brakes is scheduled for Monday, forgot to add those to yesterday's list.

Propshaft will also be looked at on Monday, it's rather worrying.

Oh and driver's door rubber.

And glove box lid needs replacement.

Don't you dare... Those are mine.

Relax, different set. E36 wheels vs E39 wheels. Remember E39 wheels are rather special ;)

Arbee, buy 4x 225/45/17 in the meantime. Don't buy 205/60/15 because you will be stuck with them for a long time.
I'm busy piecing together a new set of all narrows e36 fitment style 32's, one to go.

Or you could be the first e36 to run 18"s style 400M...:fencelook:
