1996 316i alarm not working

Hi guys !:thumbsup:
i need some help finding out what the problem could be with my cars alarm !
it has worked all the time but now only the lights flicker & no sound ,what can it be ,a fuse or something & where
would appreciate some suggestions

mine does the same. e36 318is (1997)

was told the alarm horn wasnt there. but i never really bothered after that. it never had sound since i got it, so dont know what it is.
