The only people who buy this model are enthusiasts; you don't buy it with the intention to to use it as an everyday car. Buy it to look different from the rest.

One thing about all old cars: parts are old and can die anytime. So, you gotta have some cash stacked up somewhere to replace parts as they die. Some can be damn expensive.

If you want to make a project, and replace parts slowly over a year or so, or keep it until it is the rarest car to find, then buy it.

I would buy it if I had the money. But not as an everyday car. To pay R49K and then use it and let the condition go south with everyday use does not make sense. Buy it and use it on Sundays.

Personally I think is is a lovely characterful car. Love the shape, the chrome bumper and the Alex von Falkenhausen designed engine. This car is already a classic, they feature regularly in British classic car mags.
