By the way, with some careful measuring you could figure out the wheel offset you would need - take a wheel off and measure from your hub to the wheel arch and from your hub to your suspension tower. That should give you a pretty good idea of maximum width as well as offset

Nice car bud, something different. Not sure how these cars suspension works, but maybe not an option to get someone to compress your standard springs? Its probably a bit ghetto and not sure what it would do to your ride, but that should be a cheap n quick way of doing it.

Wheels wise, I would probably go for the early open-lug Alpina style wheels? Think these came on the E12s etc? Or how about a set of E30 steelies? Period correct would be something like a BBS-Mahle

Thank you bud.
I’m also quite against the idea of compression on the springs. If not done correctly I’d need to replace the springs and the originals are just so much harder to source.
There’s talk on a Facebook group about fitting e30 coilover suspension. If that chap gets it right then it’s an option.

I am keen on the alpina look. However I do not want It looking like a regular 2002.
I will attempt to fit these BBS MAHLE sometime in the future.
It would have to be made narrower than current.
I’ve figured the offset is between 25-28.

I will get it out this weekend again to clean and take some good pics. I had some troubles with the lock and couldn’t get a key but managed to get a locksmith to sort that out for me
Not particularly keen on removing panels and putting them back but it was necessary. Couldn’t go anywhere and leave the car unattended as the doors were not locking.
That’s sorted now and I now have spare keys for the car

Suggestion for the ambers, maybe try some orange or red paint mixed with clearcoat, but try on other lenses first ( on the inside not the outside of the lens) it might bring the colour back.
