Costs so far as follows:

20 trees - R650
Wire fencing to erect around trees to avoid being cut down - R730
Compost (Still to be bought) - +-R300 (20 bags)

Total - +- R1680.

Please don't forget to bring empty 2litre bottles and a spade.

damn thats alot for fencing could you not have made the rings smaller and left the ends unconnected so when the tree outgrows it the fence can just open up?

suppose its too late now anyways i guess you got the fence already...

Nah its not proper fencing. Its the hard wire mesh and we bought 10m of it and then cut in half so effectively its 20m for us to use.

So yeah it can be opened up once the tree outgrows that 1m diameter of fencing

Guys have come forward saying they'll donate R200 etc so each just bring how much they wish to donate toward this project and we'll see how it looks on Sat morning. No worries if there is a deficit.
