Yeah everyone is entitled to an opinion, imho I think if you look at the 1Ser coupe is a 2010+ vehicle in terms of age, that rim design is very retro, almost 90s Merc-style.

SO although good to have a different look going, but these days shiny bling rims are more for Hummers, and look very 90s, so for me its a very retro looking rim on a newish car which doesnt appeal to me............
