A question about this, I was told the Non RFT tyre does not sit properly on the rim which is made for RFT tyres. going around bends etc it tends to loose air. is this true?
Personally I would stay with RFT, think its a safer tyre in terms of blow outs etc..
Definitely not true.
:coolShake:
actually the opposite is true, in some cases
RF rims usually have an extra captive moulding into which the beading fits, and holds the RFT beading in place once the tyre goes flat, to prevent the beading of the tyre jumping off the rim, and a NON-RFT tyre might not be held as securely on a rim designed for RFT tyres, but only in a deflated state.(puncture)
