I'd say fork out a little more and get some better shocks.
Koni are not badly priced.

For my E90 320d I think I paid just over R6k for the orange shocks (front and rear).

Pricing may vary as it was a while back and an E series and 3 series.

@Peter@AEW might be able to assist with pricing. Maybe drop him a pm.
You can often negotiate a fair price for installation wherever you decide to have that done.

Fitted the Koni Oranges on my 135i recently (All four corners) - no complaints whatsoever. Paid ~R7k from Gav @ GShift.

Goldwagen also stocks Bilsteins which are OE

I think I will prefer the koni oranges as they will work better with lowering springs 👌. How does the car handle with the koni oranges? On the stock msport suspension I actually noticed quite abit of body roll and also lack of front end grip.

The car feels tight and responsive with good feedback over bumps.

Roll is more a function of spring linear stiffness and sway bar torsional stiffness. Dampers are not going to do much to change this I'm afraid.
