135i Out Of Motorplan

Hi guys,

I just want to find out how many of you have a 135 out of motor plan.

I have a 2009 135i with 58000 Km on the clock and I got a quotation to extend for another year for 14K. My problem is that during that period I will only service my car once as I don't drive it that often and ever since I've had it I have never had any major issues with it. In the last year they only did a service & changed the brake pads, so is it worth extending the plan?

You pay for peace of mind and if something does go, for me I'd recommend to take it but if you plan on modding the car then leave it. Also remember resale value drops out of motorplan. I extended my car for 1 year but won't do it again as the 2nd year is a lot more expensive, I'll put that money away for a rainy day :thumbs:

I say it depends on a couple of things, how long have you had the car? What items have been replaced already? What is your driving style etc

Your mileage is pretty low and if u plan on keeping the car for another 2-3 yrs then your plan will be expired in any case so no point extending for resale then.

Depending on the history of the car and if any of the more expensive items have been replaced or not it may or may not be worth extending so tell us abit more in terms of what's been done and what's your plans.

It would be worth it if BMW replace cambelt based on time and not mileage.
If it will only cover a minor 4k service and a "what if" based on your 11800ks a year average then not so worth it in my opinion.

Regarding modding and extending plan this is also possible.
All depends on ur budget and ur gut feel in the end.
