Don't stress about the downpipe
U can get away with that.

They can't see that and doubt they will even check that if they only
Sorting out the cp.

Alternatively remove the dp and put stock back
If u need help .....drop me a pm

Won't take us long to remove

I would recommend removing the DP and putting your original ones back on. It shouldn't cost you more than R1000 at the local exhaust shops. Where you using your original charge pipe? If so, they are prone to break even on stock boost at times. Also remove JB and air filters. Put the stock air box back on and let BMW replace the OEM charge pipe. Speak to Kish2604 for help. He is in Durban and the local JB4 guru.

Dean has also offered his help and is another very knowledgeable guy with these cars.

Phone Ballito Autohaus, 0837891023, speak with Komlin, and see if he can help. Explain your problem, and tell him Yuben referred u:coolShake:

@Yuben, i unapproved this post as this new member/poster is basically trying to circumvent the system, you also posted someone's name and contact number who probably works at ballito bmw so lets not get him into trouble...

Remove the DP. Return the car to stock else risk losing your MP. You never know who will be at the BMW dealership whilst your car is in there.

As the other guys said, you safer removing both the down pipe and the JB.

Keep in mind, if anything goes and you left on the side of the road in the future, you might not have time to remove the mods. Best leave the car stock if you worried about your MP.

Thanks guys for the advice im honestly thinking off goin to stock but then the car wont be exciting to drive anymore. I mean it doesnt take much to reach the limits off a stock 135.i called bmw.da gut said go stock coz motor plan inspectors just pop in.
:thumbdo:

Does any1 have an aftermarket charge pipe for sale?

I think its a really stupid idea to use plastic pipes. U own a nissan 200sx the car is well over 25 years and it has metal charge pipes. Wat da hell was bmw thinking? These cars aint cheap
