135i N54 downpipe - secondary cat and resonator delete

Hi Guys,

I'd like to find out if anyone has this sort of exhaust setup on their 135i and how it sounds?

I currently have 76mm downpipes and I want to cut out the secondary cats. Now I'm thinking while I'm at it maybe I should replace the resonator with a Y-pipe and keep the stock back box. How would this sound? Any droning and is it too loud?

Basically I'm asking if I should delete the resonator or leave it in.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

I had dps done and had the performance y piece with stock second cats. Car definately had an awesome sound! Loved it ! Adds a minor amount of drone if you do the golf tee mod.

Still have the y piece with clamps if you looking for one pm me.

Unfortunately not. But only ever got compliments. For me it added a bit of a scream and I loved it.

Actually looking at getting the back box to fit my car, I miss that sound.

Thanks for your advice bud. I will have a think about it! Maybe I'll start off with the secondary cat delete and see how it sounds.
