Hi there, I have a 135i with an msport suspension and i was looking into what are the best lowering kits available.

The car is currently sitting on 19inch HRE rims and i wanted to know if they will rub with a drop kit on the car.

The options that I have heard about so far are:
Eibach pro kit
Vogtland lowering kit
H&R springs
Fk coilovers (im not sure what the quality is like with these)

Have you guys had any experience with these kits and how is the drop and ride quality compared to your stock msport suspension.

All inputs will be greatly appreciated

Add KW to your list. Amazing kits and you can choose the pricy ones that can set not only hight but dampening too:thumbs:

in order to know if there will be rubbing, you would need to provide the setup of the tyres/wheels, tyre sizes, wheel width and offset.

There are a few guys that have gone lower and will be able to advise accordingly based on the above.

if you want springs I'd say the H&R is the best, I have it in my car.
If you're thinking of going coilies, there's ST which is made by KW. Contact Rennzport, they can get you any of those

Thanks guys for all the replies.

Tyre sizes are as follows
Front:225/35/19
Rear: 265/30/19

As per the responses so far we have:
H&R springs
Fk coilover (R7k)
ST coilovers
Kw coilovers

Does anybody know the prices of the ST coilovers and how does the eibach pro kit compare with H&R springs?

I have FKs on my e82 135i, it is an absolutely great entry level coilover.

You could also consider yellowspeed coilovers if budget is not a concern

i have stock rims with 225/40/18s and 255/35/18s at the rear.

I did need spacers at the front to go lower than 30mm (give or take), the tire just seemed too close to the coilover.

Ride quality compared to stock is decent, my wife has not complained....yet.

Like i said, it is an entry level coilover, but it could probably give many of the "bigger brands" a run for their money comparatively
