135i in for a Detail

So, 4PiPeR has sent his recently acquired new daily for some much needed paint correction, and protection.

This was a rather challenging detail in the timeframe it was completed, but the results still speak for themselves.

We only got around to actually working on the car at 10:00 and pushed to finish before nightfall as we usually do.

After washing, and the clay step had been finished, this is what we had left to correct.

After a two step polish....

The correction process was finally rounded off using a soft pad and fine polish.

The car was washed again, after which the Opticoat application process started.

Opticoat, unlike a sealant or wax is rather a hard -wearing, ceramic clearcoat with outstanding scratch resistance. It also withstands even harsh chemicals as Caustic Soda PS: found in most degreasers today. *hint*

More info on Opticoat here ----> http://www.opti-coat.com/

The end result was a 135i that doesnt now only sound wicked, but looks the part too.

It will be returned to us for a final coat of Wax this coming weekend to finish the work on the paintwork.

A big thanks to Neesh for the opportunity.

Also, thanks to Brett and Rish for the visit and company, and especially the awesome lunch.
