Control arm bushings will set you back about R2.5k fitted, and if you need to replace control arms (if the ball joint is worn) then it will cost you about R7k

R7K!!! Is that at the dealer! Gosh, when I replaced them on my 5, I had no idea i was saving THAT much money doing it myself!!!

Hello gents. I need some advice here.


I know the 6 pots can take a bashing, but when buying a car when do you start to think the km's are to high?

There's a dealer in Bloem getting a 2002 330i with 135k on the clock for +-R105. They specialize in BMW's, so I can maybe pay a little more & make sure they replace all the troublesome components before they give me any headaches. What do think about that?
