125i possibility

Hi all,

Thinking of getting a 2013 125i M Sport Auto 5 door hatch.

Wanted to check in and see if that's a good idea. Are they reliable? What should I be looking out for when buying one?

mgwaiting: ummmm can I recommend you rather get a 135i it probably uses les fuel and has more power.
The 125 is reliable but very very thirsty. we get about 400 kms on a tank at best...
Unless the 5 door has a different motor to the e82 - 2 door

Mike, this is the first time I see you have a problem with BMW info...you disappoint me bud, come now.

He is talking about the 125i 5 door hatch which is the 2.0T, not the E82 straight 6 bro.

F20 125i has the N20 Engine.. This is a 2 litre turbocharged engine. Substantial upgrade from the e82 engine in terms of power and consumption.
