120i valve stem seals

Who's the best in JHB to do the job? Wife's valve stem seals need replacing, BMW expect a kidney donation for the job.....

I recommend Welle Engineering in Strijdom Park. They're the go-to company for engine work for most companies around there, including Rob Green, if that helps.

For now we are just going to live with it.....car does not smoke at all, runs fine, uses a litre about every 2000km....

So, my wife had the seals and guides replaced, NON BMW dealer, R13k for the whole job....

I would to know if there are any updates on this thread in terms of price of doing the seals. I also have a 120i and think I need to do mine urgently.

Also, I am based in Pretoria, if anyone could help me out with someone/some place that does the fix it would be much appreciated.

My 7-er is going to BMW for this job towards the end of the month. Quoted R10k all in (valve stem seals, labour, gaskets, oil filter and oil service).

search on here...recently someone had it done at BMW for R8k odd.
