120d E87 Clutch + DMF replacement?

Hi guys,

So im starting to plan on replacing my clutch and DMF on the 1er as im getting shudder after driving in some traffic. Car is 6speed Manual. Clutch does not slip and still drives fine but after driving in some traffic of pulling away up hill it tends to shudder a little but its controllable and been doing this for the last couple of months.

Where is the best and best priced places in JHB to buy and/or fit the clutch without getting ripped off but also does a good job?

When replacing the clutch, are there any other seals i need to think about replacing while the clutch is out?

I did Mines in 2017 or 2018 I think. I'll check my thread and let you know what I used and paid.

Ah okay nice! Well im only planning on doing clutch in the next month or two cause the shudder only starts happening after i have driven in traffic alot, in the mornings i have no shuddering and then i have the noisy DMF when pressing or depressing the clutch since i bought the car but the noise has not increased at all over the past 2 years.

Actually now that i think about it, i have had the shuddering since i bought the car when sitting in traffic but then removed the CDV and that seemed to help alot but yeah its manageable and not that hectic and also not every pull off but sucks either way.

I will keep an eye out for this announcement you talk of! Hahaha
