11.1@205 New N54 World Record

A car running the same turbos as mine managed to run 11.1@205 in the States yesterday. The car is running the RB Turbo upgrades, JB4 for management and all the bolt ons. To make matters more interesting the time was done with a soft launch in second gear running a 1.7sec 60ft which is considered average in the states with the top guys usually getting 1.5. So soon we will see a ten second X35. This specific car was a 2 door 335 auto.
It will make me very happy to have the N54 running into the tens before a S54 M3 does.

Now thats motoring!! Dont worry George, you will be there soon!!!!

I won't get that far. This is at the coast and at the coast we got no track with Tarlton like traction.

Come now man, George . You gotta at least keep trying !!! Don't give up so easily :).

Nice post George and an amazing achievement for the X35 community...

Remember your record is also an incredible achievement and no mean feat...so continue chasing down those times. I also understand that both of you are also running with full weight trim which tells me there is more in store for both of you. Nice inspiration.

I am not out to really break international records or my motor hehe. I reckon fitting the Kosei wheels is a major advantage weight wise. I also run stock 18's in the front with runflats which weigh nearly double. I have been quiet for a while as at around 480rwhp my fueling is going too lean for my liking. We noticed that the HPFP is starting to go so I have been forced to go in for the recall. I still stand to my point that only a 11.6 is achievable up here at reef with full interior and maybe lighter wheels and seats.
At the coast its anyone's guess but unfortunately we do not have the right track down their. Will I attempt a run at the coast? Yes for sure. Will I boost it full yes I will but I will only go down once I am completely satisfied that I have run the car at its max up here. Then I will hopefully carve a time that will be difficult to achieve locally and stand amongst the quicker cars world wide.
