Got a quote today for a couple of parts for my E81

All EXCLUDING VAT

Spoiler CF R9091.70
Spoiler PRIME R1931.87
Black Kidney Grill Left R619.83
Black Kidney Grill Right R619.83
Performance Exaust R8612.54
Pedal covers (silver) R1419.74
Drink Holder R431.58

1) Steering wheel,
2) CF front splits,
3) CF mirror covers,
4) CF diffuser,
5) Short shift gear lever.

I sprayed my chrome grills black

how much did that set you back? you got some pics, considering the cf difuser...and mirrors...(prob get it done nicely with vinyl as their prices is just to expensive..)

Yeah the local prices for the performance stuff is crazy and pretty insane on some of them..that perf exhaust is only for the 6cylinders aka 130i though I think? Could prob mod it to fit but won't make that much of a diff I think for the price.

as for the grills, Blackout man. Go for it! There are some pics of mine in the blacked out grills thread or it might be in the link in my sig, not sure.

Yeah we should organise something for soon, maybe the next zwartkops track day? And stealth should have his ride by then too.

Hmmm well i managed to organise the Carbon interior which i was quoted R20 000 here! managed to get it Shipped and delivered form U.K BMW for R6500!!!!!Tried to organise another interior set but they wont do a deal like that again.

@ri, the spoiler set me back about R3000 but was damaged because of the way they packaged it they taped it to a big box containing the interior so both sides of the spoiler were sticking out so the spoilers finish was cracked on both sides. I can get it repaired and they still going to send me a new one.

I also ordere the steering wheel with shift lights go tthe last one in the USA since they were discontinued but its got paddles so i have to take them off i paid about R7k for it.

All my parts are BMW Performance not iCarbon im abit weary about buying from them just yet...

I pick up the car today at 1 P.M!!! So extremely excited! Then next week rims go in for powdercoat and this weekend install grills and shadowline badges and next week carbon interior and performance shift knob and shift boot. oh and performance pedals. And end of the month installing the Performance Steering Wheel.

So yeah i'll post pictures and all gonna create a thread tonight for my build up...

@ri we gotta organise a 1er meet maybe go to Tarlton Drags on a friday. And check the cars and do some 1/4miles.

i'm still in two minds about whether or not to get my rims blacked out ! been changing my mind on a weekly basis.. but i think if i am to do it , will def go with those guys in edenvale. hmm maybe i'll check how yours came out first

Well just received my other performance part which is my steering wheel with shift lights and alcantarra centre piece but i bought the wrong version, i have a manual and the steering is for an auto! damn now gotta send it back!

Well is ur car paddle shift? As it uses the paddles from the old steering wheel. Its a R14000 part here managed to get it cheaper.
