If anyone can help, I have pulled out my Blower unit because my fan stopped working a while back. Took me a whole lot of time to find out what could be the cause and sure enough after pulling it out the fan motor could barely turn.
So in short I need to find a replacement for it. I will go second hand as I have found out this is a common fault on the 1 series and why pay your arse off to replace with a brand new part.

Blower regulator - 64119222072 (just in case it's also fried)
