Finally removed this bugger:
Long overdue mod - CDV Delete.
Notice the tiny hole, the size of a pin.
It limits the clutch fluid movement, resulting in a crappy shift.
Removing it made an instant improvement in shifting and clutch feel.
Did this in my E90 and the difference was noticeable but not like this.
It's a must do for any manual owner.
Did it myself, just needed a lift (my car is too low to jack up, need a low profile trolley jack).
I lost a drop or 2 of clutch fluid and no bleeding was needed but was due for a fluid change anyway so had that done.
