'07 E92 335i EML ISSUES

Howzat dear members,

Seem to have a problem with the above under load. EML gets triggered & says Engine Fault! Reduced Power. Funny enough no lack in power. Vehicle resets itself once switched off & then on. Could it possibly be Pre-Cat Sensors being fowled?

Can someone assist in getting codes from the car. Im in the Eldoraigne PTA area. Know Andy1GP is in the area but don't know if he still has his BM's due to these temperamental cars...:rollsmile:

Thanks for the heads up gents.

I took the car for a drive and noticed the heavy turbo lag, so suspected a boost or vacuum leak. True as nuts, this is what came up from a diagnostic check. The poor owner was quoted a new set of turbo's from BMW. I guess it's easier to replace turbos than fin a boost leak.

The car is going to a trusted partner to get worked on next week.
