06 E90 330D oil usage?

Hi guys,

Ok so one of my buddies bought a 2006 E90 330d Auto with 68000km FSH with BMW.

He would like to know how much oil does it use? As when he looked it was on MIN no light showed yesteray, 2 weeks back it was normal when he got the car...

Someone told him that the car uses 1L per 1000km not sure if it was BMW that told him that as I think thats def wrong? :fencelook:

I don't believe a 3.0 diesel should be using a litre of oil per 1000km...

sounds like the rings OR turbo seals are gone..............my d is on 195 K on the clock an it does not use a drop between services

mine doesnt use oil. if mine does use oil, its very little as the dipstick remains roughly on the same spot.

Mine also uses nothing at all.

My 08 pre LCI E90 330d uses about a litre of oil about every 2000kms (100k kms on the odo). My 2002 E46 330d uses nil (155k kms on the odo). My old E39 530d used very little (had 240k kms on the clock) and my old E53 X5 3l d used nil (230k kms).
