'04 X3 3.0 Service

My car is currently on 106000km and the next service is due in 7000km according to the car. I have it for just over a year now so I would like to have it serviced earlier - an oil service... I was told this is a good practise.

Is this recommended?

The last few times after a short road trip (+- 160km), I noticed some water under the car so I would like them to check that everything is still ok as well.

Which vendors are reliable to service these vehicles?

I am in Cape Town in the Southern Suburbs.

BMW dealership oil service isn't expensive and they diagnose the water leak which u can fix elsewhere if they are too expensive with that.

If you're in Cape Town, why not take the car to Garage 808?

1. Never heard of them
2. From what I just read, they're in Northern Suburbs

I got a quote from Auric @ R1200 and a quote from SMG @ R850 max. SMG also offered to drop me off at home etc while Auric showed no signs of good customer service.
