Stock F10 M5 Dyno figures

Hi, had my F10 M5 (stock except for drop in BMC filters) on the SRSpeedworx dyno today as I was fetching a JB Stage 1 for this car. Measured 414KW and 796Nm on the wheels on the second pull (other pulls were similar). Coming from a modded 2015 M135i I was quite impressed with these figures. These engines are brutal! JB Stage 1 should add about another 25wKW and 40wNm on that? What are the experiences of other F10 M5 owners - stock and modified? Cheers Peter

The F10 M5 is a hand full driven hard, but if you respect the power, and have your wits about you, it's absolutely insane to drive...

Highest I did 418wkw... bone stock

Lowest figure was 389wkw on a hot day after car had been sitting and it was the first time so it still sat on the dyno whilst they figured out what to do. Haven't dynoed after exhaust and haven't fitted downpipes.

Very nice numbers :clapper:

From what I've heard and read, you will get more than +25wkw with the JB and then +40 from downpipes. I think the clutches start slipping past 1100wNm. You need serious rubber to put down the power LOL.

Hi, Update - with JB Stage 1 power has gone up to 448KW and 854NM with the stock JB1 setting of +4ps (Map 1). Car felt very strong, albeit not as smooth as before - sort of a "kick" when the added boost comes in. However, after getting a knock sensor fault code twice, I set the boost down to +3psi (Map 3) and have only got it once since then (WOT from about 3000 rpm under load). Have now set it down to +2.75psi. Am running Sasol with a bottle of NF Sport in every tank. Are there any similar experiences and/or advice from forum members? Cheers.

add 5 litres of ethanol to every tank when you fill up.

Like Phantom says run Ethanol in every tank instead, I wont go into all the details on why you should not use NF in every tank as there is plenty of that on the forums

The power figure are insane in these M5's. How's the traction once you guys do the put Jb and downpipes on?

Mine made 424 stock and 509 after JB and downpipes.
That sounds very good. Am running with a JB1 at the moment and will fit a JB4 in the next week with the BCM later (have ordered both). Are your figures with the BCM? What Map where you running - am really not sure if Map 1 or Map 3 needs the BCM? What octane?

Got 474wkw and 900nm on the wheels on my previous M5, JB4 + DP and Pipes.

Dropped the PSI due to clutch slippage and limp mode. Got 450wkw and 850nm worked perfect for highway runs.
