RE: My POV in peak hour traffic on a bike.
Rollsmile hey Nick that first part was wide man, U have to try that over here in the UK, Im in South London (Croydon roads are soooo much narrower) and the traffic is busy here man but the drivers are so curtious and let you through everywhere.

you going to upset some of the Cage drivers here by driving up the emergency lane. Crazylaugh Ive had a few guys go for me as Ive ridden past them like that

Just keep safe out there mate CoolShake

RE: My POV in peak hour traffic on a bike.
Interesting , more and more people are jumping on bikes because of traffic and fuel , how long would the same journey have taken if you were in a car ?

RE: My POV in peak hour traffic on a bike.
sooo....when are you treating that triple with an Akropovic, Leo Vince or Remus? I would vote Remus Rollsmile

those triumps realy are beautiful.
And I also dont understand why more people are not commuting with a bike, I would go nuts in traffic like that.

Then definitely ride one. And make sure you're ready to part with your hard earned cash Bluebiggrin Also understand that it is nowhere near as capable as your 800 off-road.

Beeeatch be HEAVY Biglol

Still, wouldn't part with it. CoolShake

RE: My POV in peak hour traffic on a bike.
Yea, the 800 is not to bad off road.
One problem with the peach of an engine is that it breaks traction and spins like a crazy thing.

Fun AF tho.

Ill try make an off-road vid soon.

Very courteous of you to thank people who give you space, have still not seen one biker in SA do this when I move over for them. You must be the only exception to the rule.

But it seems like they left the indicators off your bike........... I never saw you use them once.

Good on you, well done. A little more of that sort of courtesy on the roads and we'd all be much better off.

I dont expect bikes to use indicators in traffic like that. They are moving so much faster than any traffic around them that by the time you've seen the first blink they've passed you already anyways. Its only when bikes make use of the full lane like a car, then its nice if they show when they want to overtake and turn etc.

RE: My POV in peak hour traffic on a bike.
Damn guys the Triumphs really look good! Praise

Its the GS trophy qualifiers this weekend, I am really looking forward to some time on the bike but I did a pretty serious stuffup on the practicality side. I have to ride 500km to there, have a grueling skills challenge, and then 500km back in one day. I have no intention of doing good, just want to see where I am. Will probably be on the road before 4am and back home after dark as well, hopefully the weather is cleared up by then.

So, really nice to see some duallies amongst the cars, I hope they see a lot of gravel as well =)

Clapper from me as well for thanking cagers that move over. It gets bikers some much needed browney points.

RE: My POV in peak hour traffic on a bike.
That mileage on a GS should be an easy ride.

My bike sees the dirt now and again.

I even went MX biking with it once Biglol
