Its about time I do a thread on my car. The car has come a long way.
Many thanks to the guys whom have helped me along the way and made some of it possible.
First up the ex.
The Cupra was an amazing car running Unitronic software, TIP, DP and Forge DV.
She was really quick and was awesome around Kyalami at the VW Club Track day! Putting down 149kw and 320nm.
Now onto the day I saw and decided this would be my 135i.
This was by far more powerful than my Cupra. Stock standard pushing 194kw and 423nm. The increased power really showed from 100km on but up to 100 the Cupra was a rocket due to the weight.
My 135i is an N54 with Steptronic. The combination of power and comfort was just amazing, the drive was what made it perfection for me.
First mod was my powder coated black wheels which really set the car apart.
Then stock rear spoiler in black.
Then came VW Club gymkhana.
Then a VW Club Track day - Kyalami.
During that time i got a Carbon Spoiler with white pinstripe.
And JB4. Thanks SR Speedworx
Then came a sad day. I was in a bumper bashing.
But there was some sun shine to come. A first for SA I believe.
And then this...
Tucked wheels.
New wheels choosen.
And tyres.
The car recently saw Gert and got some gearbox loving after the fluid change from ZF and Nico. Gerts magic was just awesome the car absolutely loves it!
Currently running roughly 250kw at the wheels and 530nm, this is with DP's and software.
In the coming months I need to sort out the exhaust and wanna do turbo upgrades just need to decide the direction single or twins.
Just got new pads all round need new front disks. I have booked for water pump and thermostat and need to get hold of George to do a carbon clean.
