1. Meeting at Mcdonald,s N1 City @ 9am.
2. Reservation has been made at The Lookout deck, Houtbay for 12.30 for 13.00

Good day chaps

The topic is pretty much self explanatory, I want to organise a x35 get-together.
I think it would make for an awesome day of speed and sound (with everything done in a responsible manner)

What do you guys think??Lets get together as many x35's as possible and have some fun!!

I'm open to any suggestions, be it a breakfast run, nighttime drags, a dyno day, anything!!

Oh yeah, this is for WESTERN CAPE, Cape Town fanatics (or surrounding areas, I'm coming from Paarl)

Would be awesome if we could have a few 1M's there aswell, seeing as they run the 35 engine!!:rollsmile:

Any ///M owners are welcome

I know JHB have had some battle of the x35's events but I don't believe we have had any down under?!?

I'm thinking next weekend Saturday 12 April/Sunday 13 April
Let the planning begin gents....

All Fanatics could join?!?:fencelook: but I would like to make the event x35...seeing as normally only the ///M guys seem to have all the limelight:tease:

An X35 meet would be fun.
A breakfast run followed by a parkoff? Show & shine? Photoshoot?

Dyno events & racing events do unfortunately not lend themselves to good socializing.

We can also hook up at a Killarney open day but then only a few will circuit.

Killarney would be nice also... About how much does it cost to enter a open day event??does one need a racing helmet and kit to participate??

Sounds excellent, I think Killarney would involve extra money to get access though!Im keen, but some other folks might not be?!?:fencelook:
Although I'm not sure, can other fanatics confirm this.Ive only been to Killarney once many years ago!!:nonono:

And I think this will only work if we can arrange a good turnout of say, at least 8/10 x35's, but that's not a dealbreaker!

Killarney entrance is free for the open days.

Would cost R400 to participate and a helmet, long sleeves, long pants and closed shoes are required. Passengers pay R50 to go on track.

I've been mulling it over, and do you guys not think it would be better and more inviting to a bigger audience if we change this run to a normal "All are welcome" Breakfast run so that all fanatics can join us??

As they say in the Game of Thrones: "Winter is almost upon us", and with this the hot sunny days will disappear, and smooth dry tarmac will become hard to find, and so engines being able to hit the redline freely will almost certainly die-out

until next summer that is :idea:

This might be our last time this season to get together on a hot sunny Sunday morning to enjoy our, and one anothers', cars to the full, as it is meant to be...

So I've decided on a deserved name-change for the run also, so now let's make it another awesome run, same as the March run a few weeks ago.I think we had roughly 28/30 cars that day.It's gonna be tough to beat but let's see if we can gather an even bigger group....here goes:

Bigger groups ftw always! Would be nice to actually meet everyone! I probably spot at least 10 possibly fanatics a day between the +-50 or so beemers I see everyday :inlove:

Wow that's awesome.i think I'm the only Fanatic in my town of Paarl! :nonono: ive only ever seen one fanatic car at our local mall in the parking lot!!

This will only be my second run I participate in!but I must say, ALL the fanatics I've met are great folks!!!:thumbs:
