We have really been taking our time with the diesel solution. The biggest barrier has been the method we where going to use to clean the intake manifold of the soot build up. The issue was not how clean we where to get it but a cost affective method on our side in order to keep consumer prices down.
At long last we have started doing diesel vehicles to the public and will be offering a opening special similar to the X35 guys we did so successfully. The clean is the same as petrol cars cleaning the intake ports, valves as well as in the case of the diesels cleaning the intake manifold and egr system. We are going to absorb a lot of the cost in doing the clean and offer the same pricing for 4 cylinders across the board and the same with 6 regardless of model and mileage.
The recommended mileage to have this done is if your vehicles is above 100,000km. We have done dajee on the forums E90 330d with new gen motor at far lower miles and the results where very good but 100,000km and up is the safe bet.
The special is for the first 10 cars that sign on. 4 cylinders will be R2000 and 6 cylinders will be R2500. Any customer that has been quoted differently in the past can now have their vehicles done at this price.
By popular demand I am going to open this to all diesels of forum members.
