My new 335i Vossen wheels have arrived!

These wheels took about 45 days to be made by Vossen and the wait was horrible because I was so excited to have them after seeing them the first time on a couple of 3 series in the US. They were absolutely flawless with not a single stain or imperfection on them when I took them from their boxes. Rennzport was so impressed with the quality of the wheels that we signed up as an authorised distributer for Vossen in S.A.

Test fitting the rims on the car at Donford was nerve recking because I prayed they (must) fit and yes, the off-set was perfectly chosen for this car. Check the size of this rim compared to the 19s. The Vossens are (very) much lighter than the stock BMW performance 19s wheels with tyres on.

We waited for the rims to arrive before sourcing/ordering the tyres and needless to say we could not find the size tyre for this wheel anywhere. My first choices Bridgestone and Pirelli did not have them in the country neither did Goodyear. But Revo (Zaahier) quickly got onto the hot supplier lines and were able to source these Falkens literally as they were off loaded by the courier from germany and I was able to fit them the next day.

FINAL FITMENT & IMPRESSIONS

These wheels look absolutely fantastic on this car. Its different. And makes a statement.

The ride on these tyres are so comfortable and grips like mad. We had some rubbing and the rear and front fenders had to be rolled in slightly to get rid of the touching. When the bilstein sport button is pressed in (stiffens the suspension) and I hit a deep hollow in the road at speeds above 120, I picked up some touching as the wheel hit the inside of the wheel well. But in comfort mode its fine with the shocks and springs having a longer travel.

Generally the ride is amazingly comfy and quiet compared to the previous RFTs. Infact, I would have preferred a bit more road feedback as I was so used to the Bridgestones talking back all the time...:=):

There are a few more power mods being done to the car and it should all be done and ready before Xmas, so I can enjoy this car everyday for the holidays.

Incredible... Im lost for words.

Even though i still think 20's are too big for E90. These wheels fill and fit the arches like a glove. You have change my perception of bigger wheels on E90, granted they are the correct ET, etc.

Well done Twinz. I really need to make a trip to CT in the near future, would love to meet you and see this car in person! Its very tastefully modded. Big ups...

Those wheels are stunning.

I have seen a couple of pics with these rims, and one of the vehicles had the concave wheels on the front and the back.
