Hi Guys

My OEM CF spoiler is is in the post at the moment and should expect it anytime soon.

Any idea how to "stick" it on?

Betalink glue from the dealers is probably your best option since the spoiler is so expensive.
If you have commitment issues you can use thin double sided tape from 3M.

Look for the No More Nails brand of double sided tape... Its a clear with the red protective layer on it. Be sure you dont want to remove it ever again cos this tape sticks good...

Hahahaha Betalink is really brilliant stuff, still have the signs on my hands since using it last night :biglol:. Betalink link combined with the 3M VBH is the way to go, dont use them on top of each other! I have about half a tube of betalink if you want it, the tube is in a sorry state though.

Hi Rowan

What steps did you take to apply the betalink? did you prep the body first?

Process followed...

1. Removed old spoiler using fishing line
2. Peeled off what pieces I could of the OEM tape (be careful)
3. Used the betalink cleaner solution to strip out any wax / dust on the boot lid.
4. Used the same solution to clean the new spoiler.
5. Used painters tape to mark out the area were the spoiler needed to sit on the boot lid.
6. Applied a consistant amount of betalink over the spoiler
7. Waited 15 mins fo the glue to get abit "tacky"
8. Lined up the spoiler according to the painters tape
9. Placed the spoiler firmly down using a towel
10. Remove access glue from the edges
11. Another firm rub to remove any air pockets

12. Try for at least 3 hours tyring to remove the betalink off your hands
13. Try for at least 3 hours tyring to remove the betalink off your hands
14. Try for at least 3 hours tyring to remove the betalink off your hands

I would use the 3M Red double sided tape... trust me, that shit sticks and NEVER LETS go, but it can be cut with a thin razor wire if you ever need to remove the spoiler.
Glue sticks, but mission to get off.... famous last words, I will never need to take it off.... thats what I also said...
