diy Cold Feet - E90

So, I noticed a few weeks back (When it was still so hot) that the fan/Blower does not blow through the bottom vents which point to the feet as well as the ones under the front seats.
With this cold weather the past few days, my feet suffered the most :ROFLMAO:
Where do i begin to check this out?

The electronic motor which is adjusted to close and open the louvres inside the system - controlled by the AC switch/roller/knob could be faulty.

1. Check diagnostics for fault
2. check fuses
3. check relays
4. Check physical button/knob roller and ensure it is engaging (ie it should show on).

Lastly and very rarely, the plastic detent thing inside breaks and then it simply wont be moved by the motor.

To answer the 'easier' ones;
4. It shows on when pressing the button.

So when I press the physical button, the button lights up, but I can't hear anything (as in the direction changing).
I guess i'll have to strip the bottom part of the dash to check?

Yep, sounds mechanical versus electronic.
See if you can get a boroscope to use, might need two people. One to turn it on and off, and one to check what happens internally when its turned on/off to see mechanically if anything has changed.

Stripping the lower dash is a big job, trust me.

Thank you.
Lets see if I can find anyone with a boroscope that'll assist.
Otherwise, i'd have to task @1 Eyed Monkey to come lay under the dash :D
