Thank you everyone for the well wishes.

Back at work and only thinking of going back on the open road rather than working on another spreadsheet!

Congrats Nish! It is such a beautiful car! So glad u went .1 or .2 ; these N/A cars have so much more soul and is a much better drive (imo). Once u go Porsche its very hard to move away from the brand…

I know you have only had the car for a short time now but hows the handling on the twisty roads compared to the Cayman?
Got a good opportunity to experience the handling on the passes during my trip in Clarens.

At first I was apprehensive due to still getting used to the car, and also the front being lighter than what I’ve been used to when pushing the Cayman. You can feel the different dynamics in the 2 cars in how it corners. The 911 has Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) which aids taking those sweeping corners at relatively high speed. Car does get a bit unsettled on some of the really bad bumpy and less than decent roads, but keen to try it on the track

Nice one man! Im sure once you put more roadtrips on the board u will be pushing the 911 harder and will have some interesting stories to tell :D . Once again, congrats, and enjoy that beautiful 911 and NA sounding motor 😁

Did the PPF. Unfortunately couldn’t get it done before the Clarens trip.

This is a lovely specimen Nish. It isn’t easy to downgrade from a 718 to 911, but I know she will treat you well.

I’m in between on the black vs silver wheels - I this think something in between would look hot on that colour.

Custom set from @FiRi@Rennzport ...

...But until then, I feel this style of Rim might benefit by having the base colour in the pick @AudiDriver posted with a diamond cut face. Would have to see it in person and check what's possible though as the process is 'destructive' in nature. Perhaps a high polish? Finding a shop to do it is another story I guess

Different base colour to below but you get the idea. My 601Ms on the F10 had this finish and in person it worked well. Best of both worlds and the 'usually brake dusted' sections were somewhat masked. :ROFLMAO:

The dark colour hides too much of the beauty of the wheel.

Thanks guys for the suggestions. As it’s been just over a week of ownership, I’ll continue with the black rims for now and decide on next rim colour option.
Saw one done in brownish/bronzey/goldish style and looked good!
