Time for some interior upgrades…

Started off with an aftermarket OEM looking replacement. Was a much needed upgrade over the standard tape deck radio. This car has the most basic base model sound system you can get from factory so the speakers were properly bad lol. I later upgraded and did a full sound system in the car, nothing too crazy but at least it’s decent sound now

Another much needed upgrade is the LED interior light update. Was sick of the old dull lights and replaced them all with white colour LEDs. Took a few tries trying to get ones that arnt too bright for the interior

Here is a before the head unit picture

I must say for 330 000kms the interior is extremely clean, the seats the buttons everything is all intact. Only issues were some interior trim plastics were chipping away due to age and bmw using a certain rubber type of coating on certain plastic parts

You right, parts are difficult to find but I have seen a good few ads on FBMarketplace recently for E46 being stripped, individuals too.

Recently I believe they have become slightly easier to come by but your only chance is good second hand bumpers and most of the time they are in terrible condition

Ja 100%, but so far that interior is loved since it doesn't look like 330k on the clock.
Good luck, I'll send some find of the bumpers of I see any good ones to consider.

I would agree with that. I plan to keep it in this good condition.

I would appreciate that, I already have the full kit on my car but i know a couple of my friends are still looking for it so please still let me know if you see anything

Car is looking very clean for the age! Now to get rid of those hideous wheels...Style 68?

With a bit of luck you can find M-sport bumpers and side skirts for reasonable money

Thanks a lot man! call me crazy but i am inlove with the wheels, they also quite unique and original. i haven't seen another E46 with them before.
Style 68 is a good option but they are a bit to common for my liking but if the price is right then id definitely pull the trigger

I am calling you crazy

Original to? As far as I can tell, those are a poor replica of ACS Type 4 wheels, definetely not original. Unique for sure and the reason they are unique is because not enough people are "crazy" enough to buy them in the first place...

But we are all entitled to our incorrect opinions, so long as you enjoy the car :) I will agree18" are nice on E46, how about Style 135 or even 350m from a F10?

I agree, those wheels are certainly a choice. Especially when there is such a healthy market of old BMW wheels on Marketplace - a clean set of style 68s would run you no more than R8k

Outch🤣 when I show you the car lowered on these wheels then you can give me your honest opinions Benji😂

These are type 5 wheels the type 4s are different and they have the stamps at the back of them I just have them in storage at the moment or else I’d share a picture of them

Been looking for a decent set of style 135s but they not easy to find I almost bought a set but the guy wanted too much for them after he mentioned how buckled they were.

Trust the process let me cook with these wheels them you can tell me😂

I would certainly recommend finding a set of LCI Xenons – It's plug & play minus a little coding. Exceptional light output + way way way nicer looking in my opinion
Oh yes far better in every possible measurable way! Been looking for a set but had no luck most I’ve seen are missing the modules or the headlight brackets are broken all that type of stuff. I don’t mind spending but it has to be in good condition

I don’t think this car can go back to 17s that’s my problem. 18s just look perfect they not too big and they not too small. If it was like a spare set of wheels then absolutely
