technical E46 Cubby Torch

I can't seem to find any info on this around here.
Any idea how to get this working again?
Battery replacement or is it better off as an ornament in the cubby?

As far as i remember, its rechargeable and when the round, flat battery in there Dies, then It must be replaced to get it working again.
Its soldered in place.

i opened 1 to check it out. lol. but never Attempted to fix.
Rest that i had i sold them all.

Mine has been an ornament forever. With cellphones having way better flashlight tech not worth having it in a working condition

Thats all they are. Ornaments.

Even when they worked, They never worked cause you can see absolutly nothing using that light. lol
Its just cool when years later, When you show someone and you put it on and that Old Bulb barely lights up like its some kind of wow factor.

Surely there must be an led replcaement available by now?
Maybe even a diy solution?
