Installation of F30 accessories

HI Fanatics,
I'm in Fourways & looking for a good quality installer for:

1. Front grille
2. Front lip spoiler
3. Side mirror covers
4. Boot spoiler
5. Side skirt decal stickers

GT Concepts quoted me R1700 to fit all. I feel it's a bit on the high side, more importantly unsure about the installation quality of their work.
Autostyle quoted R3000. Ridiculous in my opinion.

Recommendations?

PS-I already have all the parts.

You can literally install all these parts on you own especially if you have it in your possession.

There are many videos on Youtube out there which shows you exactly how to fit these parts on your own. You'll save a lot of money in doing so. I fitted parts onto both, my F30 and M140i, fairly easy.

The only one I'd suggest getting someone to fit would be the decals. They are a nightmare to install on your own and it requires special wrapping skills.

Agreed, the decals need some patience and front lip may be a bit challenging especially if you dont have a ramp or a jack but the rest are pretty straight forward, i would recommend watching a couple of youtube vids per item before you install.
becareful not to crack your mirrors if you replacing it with a new cap, if its a stick on its much simpler.

I’d first ask the supplier you bought the parts from if they can handle the fitment for you. If that isn’t possible, fitting them yourself isn’t too difficult and it means that if something doesn’t line up, you’ll know it’s a part issue, not the installer’s.
When components are manufactured to the correct specs, grilles and mirror caps usually just click into place.
It’s only lower-quality imports that often require a heat gun and a bit of careful molding to sit perfectly.

If you want to go with an installer, @FiRi@Rennzport is really good, just don't know if he will install parts that aren't his.

I tried fitting those decals onto the F30 and I got fed up. I fckd it up nicely. I'll get someone else to fit them on for me.

The mirrors are actually quite easy as well and you don't need to remove the actual glass either. A hack to getting the caps off are to use an old bank card and slide it along the edges and from there you can clip it off. It was fairly straight forward.

Unless you have good wrapping skills, the decals are definitely something that needs to be done by someone with experience. Otherwise its bound to go misaligned

Mirrors seem easy.
It's the other stuff that someone who has experience may be better at.

Sounds like you're looking for a "bra to help for cheap" rather than professional workmanship. For anyone who values fitment done right, aligned, tight, and paint-safe, R1700 is a good deal (Although I don't know the quoted company). R3000 is on the higher end but might come with a name or warranty on fitment.

You're best bet is to get a friend, a case of beer with an installation Youtube guide. Proper fun. Everything is doable but as mentioned here, skip the decals, it's a pain in the ass.

We dont fit decals, but can assist on the rest. Price would be R1400. (Provided no boot spoiler on the car at the moment)

On appointment
