So now we know with certainty, there was a box that was not ticked... Adaptive LED's were available on the F15. I also don't spot the surround view cameras?

Excellent purchase, quite a find between spec, year model and mileage.
Correct, I had adaptive LED's on my F15.

So after the sad end to my previous F15 we were lucky to find this beauty. Collected in Bloem yesterday and home via Joburg. I don't think there is an optional extra box that the previous owner DIDN'T tick🤣. HK sound, HUD are particularly nice to haves.... best part? 2018 model garage queen with only 57000km on the clock. It will be cherished for many years.
This is such a beauty and given that the air ride bags at the rear can be had for better prices now, it makes so much sense to get into one of these.
Congrats bud, may you and the family have many happy, safe and fulfilling kms ahead.

P.S. Now to mend that username to "WIDEOPENX5"

A few of the old timers were invited to the GT3 unveiling... so we made a quick run through (at near zero degrees LOL) to contemplate some future poor financial decisions.

A couple of us went in our sportscars-that-are-not-911s (S2000 and 4C) LOL

I took these a few weeks ago after I'd given it a wash. I've been on a black out mission on the car, so changed the badges to black, put on an inconspicuous spoiler on the back, then put on a subtle front splitter compliments of @FiRi@Rennzport. I will be the first to admit I didn't get the alignment quite right on the splitter and it took me half an hour to realise I was putting it on upside down 🤦‍♂️

Anyways... such is life. Next things are the rims, they need a full refurb and I'm going to repaint them gloss black, and the kidney grill surround I am also going to make gloss black. Then I will be in stealth mode and JMPD will never see me. Or.... they'll just effing stop me all the time cos I will be too conspicuous and they'll think I'm smuggling/dealing in illicit narcotics from Hillbrow. I'd like to believe they will never see me. I am still really enjoying this car, I know for the M purists these M Performance models are kinda like taking your sister to your matric dance (unless your sister is SMOKING hot and you come from Alabama...), but I am always pleasantly surprised by how much shunt this car has. The B58 really is a gem.

But I'm itching.... in all the wrong places. At least I know it's not a medical emergency itch though. Which is helpful.

Better scratch that itch before the herpes gets worse.
Car looks hot @Bugger but I think the silver and black wheels look way better than full black..

Yes, I was just going to say the same, the silver bits just makes the wheels pop a little and give definition.

@Bugger I had the same grill as yours with the silver surrounds. I bought the blacked out grill from BMW (with the std M logo). They are pricey at R6500 if I remember correctly, but they gave me 25% discount, so I got it for around R4500ish. Easy to swap as well.

Your cars looks great, enjoy!!

Thanks for the feedback gents. I've been in two minds about the rims. It's mostly for easy maintenance but I do like the look of them as they are. But man they've been abused.

@70007 I was looking at going that route. Damn expensive for what they are though. So if I can raise enough cash I might still. I was considering doing a gloss black wrap on the grills though so if I didn't like it I could just peel it off. Jury's still out.

@modocrat its burning like a wildfire at the moment.... But I am not ready to a) die at the hands of my wife and b) get myself into more debt just yet. But you know how car guys are. Autotrader is a petrol head's girlie magazine.

I'm trying to decide whether or not I do the front splitter. I think the car looks great as is, but then:
