Good day everyone,
I have looked up and found that my car E70 is indicated as having an outstanding Technical Campaign as per below:

Body number: 0LL45663. Please contact the customer about the outstanding campaigns. 0026230100

Has anyone else had the same? Anybody who can help me with how to know what this campaign is all about. I hate being left in the dark with cryptic messages. I want to know what it is about long before I even speak to any dealers etc about it. In fact, based on what it is, I would prefer to have the time to find out which dealer I would prefer to contact. Call it trust issues if you may, but I have serious concerns about the workmanship and ethics going on in many dealerships these days and I don't like to just entrust my vehicle to anyone.

The BMW Campaign 00 26 23 01 00 (Service Action label 673) applies to E70 X5 (as well as E71 X6 and E72 X6 ActiveHybrid) vehicles built between April 2010 and January 2011. It’s a Service Action to inspect the front driveshaft universal joints for premature wear (radial play) and replace the driveshaft if any play is found.

Ok, great. Thanks for the feedback. Now I at least know what they were listing there. I guess best would be for me to start by doing a specific check on it myself even before considering where to take it.
