Hi Everyone

I need some assistance if someone is willing to help,

I have a 2014 F30 320i and would like to code out the start stop feature, Its annoying as can be.

I'm based in Midrand in the day and Centurion in the afternoon and weekends

Willing to travel out to someone who has a cable and willing to assist.

We should maybe look into getting a forum license for Bimmercode, share cost between members who want in and related to a specific device ex. Android to start with.

Hook it onto a shared new gmail addy that members can use and everyone just gets their own adaptor.

If you split the cost say between 20 members at the start for the Pro license, each of them will only need to drop in around R275.
If more people wanna join in going forward, that money can be dropped into an IOS account again etc etc.

The license is only like R800...

Yeah, for the basic license with a 3-vehicle limit. A Pro license would give us access to all control units and unlimited vehicles.
is that not the r800 license ? i dont recall seeing a "limit" on my app.

When last did you check? There is only a full version available and you aren't limited to any amount of cars or modules. Also the license is tied to your device and can't be transferred between iOS and Android.

I checked on Windows :ROFLMAO: My bad, I see Android only has one while Windows has 2 versions.
As for the license though, you can "restore your purchase" on other similar devices ex. Android using the same Google account. But given the price it's not worth the hassle. Thanks btw, if not for your feedback I would not have known about the differences between the platforms.

That would sound like a plan or get someone that is willing to be the gate keeper of both device and cable and we do it on rotational basis...

Tied to your Google account or Apple account...can sign in on another android device, sign in with your Google account, install the app and use it for example. And yip...only one version.
