Haven't had a chance to take some good pics. Also want to make the kidneys black. It's been impossible to find the single slat black kidneys, so I will just wrap the originals black. If anyone knows of a good place here in Cape Town.
Other than that loving the car, wish it had Apple Play and the Ambient Lighting, but other than that I'm in love.
Oh and also want to do a full detail, was recommended to go to Qiyaam at Pro Touch.

Congrats bud,
To be honest, I was looking for the single slat and FB marketplace there is a place in pretoria which has a set. However when I spoke to @FiRi@Rennzport, he told me that I was looking for something that will take us back to early 2000s ha ha and dual slates are better suited so I got a set from him and when fitted, I didn't regret it. It suits the G01 much better than the single slats and I was head strong on getting the single slats initally. It really does improve it a lot and give it an aggressive feature.

Have a look at mine on my thread: https://bmwfanatics.co.za/threads/my-latest-purchase-x3-g01-20d.100948/page-2

The only thing that I would also do while the grilles are out and you can consider this too is to wrap the crash bars behind the grill in glass black also. I will be doing this soon...so the grilles look more pronounced.

So ive also just installed the dual slat gloss black grills on mine and ive notice the difference between the oem ones and the aftermarket ones is that the oem ones have a solid piece behind the first and last slat where the aftermarket ones dont. I have the active kidney grills so the lever thats connected to the motor to move the active girlls is now exposed but not an eyesore but bmw obvisouly had it covered to protect it. My question is that will motorplan have an issue with the dual slat installed?

I got mine wrapped man. I really prefer the look of the single slats. I don’t mind if it’s early 2000s. Just looks a lot cleaner to me.

Thanks guys.

I had to pay for warranty but they paid for the pirrelli p zeros and the diagnosis today.

Just got the car back from bmw century city.
Full QC check, holiday check and diagnosis and tyres fitted by them.

Car was absolutely perfect. Confirmed no accidents or spraywork. Battery perfect, brakes, suspension everything great. No leaks etc.

They put me at ease. Worth the cash for the peace of mind. Will post some pics.

Appreciate all the help.
What did the bmw check cost.
