X3 turn signal sound

Hi Guys,

I had some sound out into my 21 X3, pre LCI, nothing crazy just replaced the existing speakers and added a small amp.

The sound is great, however the turn signal sound is unbearable… its super loud even when the radio volume is down.


Does anyone have a suggestions or a fix for this. Im happy to completely disable the signal sound but would rather have it at a lower volume

It's a BMW, no BMW driver ever uses a turn signal. This is a non issue.

i was thinking the same thing, i mean who uses turn Signals.

On a more helpful note, I am not sure if recoding or disabling ASD/Active sound design module is an option here? Maybe look into it

It's the response we need to give when people hoot at us when changing lanes, in the manual page 43 I think.

You might be able to code out the turn signal sound but then run the risk of loosing your MP.
