New to me F10 530d

After being on the lookout for a 30d for quite some time, I eventually pulled the trigger on this beauty.

White on black with FSH at BMW, extremely clean, literally not a single nick anywhere. Unfortunately no HK sound, if anyone has details on retrofit, let me know.

Plans are the usual, dp + software, mirror caps + switch current wing for a black one. Get front bumper paint matched, it has faded quite a bit compared to the rest of the car.

Put around 500km on her over the long weekend. What a machine. Different class to the 320d I previously had. The things I like most are the interior size and quality, and the motor / gearbox combo. The 8 speed is as great as everyone says.

After putting about 3000kms on the car in 18 months I decided to do some preventative maintenance and renew some of the rubber components as I could feel they've perished, along with doing an extensive service.

Full service with Liqui Moly
All filters inc fuel
New brake disks + pads
Brake fluid flush
Both engine mounts
Gearbox mount
Tappet cover gasket as it had the tiniest bit of sweat on it
Waiting on stock to replace universal joint on prop
Refurb on all 4x wheels

Also planning to send her for a detail soon, looking at options.

She's feels good and healthy, still have a RK file on her that I'm very happy with.
Parking her back in the garage for the occasional weekend trip. Really a lovely car, has everything you could ever need and then some.

Ah, also scrapped all planned visual mods, except black kidneys which were fitted some time back.
Might be getting over the boy racer phase? Probably not though

These engines love the road, robust 3.0d that does long mile trips easy.

Nothing wrong with keeping it simple with tasteful mods.

I'm one of the lucky remaining few who still do permanent WFH. Also don't do any short trips, we use the wife's car for that.
Starting a new job next month which will need me in JHB once a week, will see more seat time then which I'm actually excited for.
