technical e90 m47 Turbo actuator or Swirl flap/ERG Valve

Hi guys, I spoke with a mate of mine about a concern I have with my horse:

Issue:

When I put my car into sport mode and a floor it, it feels as if the car almost has to "think" about what it has to do (split second and then decides to go)

My mate suggested the possible issues that might be occurring:

1. EGR valve & swirl flaps

or

2. Turbo actuator

Does anyone know what might be happening or maybe has had the same experience?

I am pretty pedantic about my horse so I want to keep him shape (preventative maintenance). He is a daily runner and I actually dont have any issues. Fuel consumption from Milnerton to stellenbosch is around 4.7 - 6.0 liters per 100 km.

I have found on the M47 that the egr pipe (that stainless steel one with the big clamp) that clamps onto the egr that if i tighten that as much as i could then there is a slight gain in performance. The other thing (not sure if yours has it) is the vacuum pipe leading to the turbo which could be leaking. I would start with these two items.

Hi Solo, I thought there might be a slight leak. I was inspecting the engine bay on Saturday and didnt see any leaks in the pan but around charge pipe there is a bit of build-up (wasnt sure if it was sweat or a leak). I'll check both pipes to be sure
