I have a scratched bumper as the image illustrates below. Is this fixable or will it need a replacement?

I stand to be corrected it looks like alot of that could be polished out... Take it to a detailer and see what he can do for you... Afterwards you can decide if you wanna go through a bmw approved repairer to the repair the chipped and cracked sections ... Will cost you a comment on your plan but will save you the trouble down the line with motorplan issues or when you try to sell and someone thinks the car was in an a collision

R30k comment for a R3k job if he takes it to an ARC.

More like R10-15K than R30K... and probably more like R5/6K than R3K if done privately. But this brings up the argument of whether (as a buyer) you go with the comforting lie of no paintwork no comments when your eyes tell you there was paintwork? or "There was a comment but at least there is a papertrail and it was at an ARC" :ROFLMAO:

Hard to tell whether the grey is from a wall/object or whatever the bumper was primed with. They grey on the black suggests the former. Very possible it can be buffed out or at least improved.
