I had the DPF removed and a down pipe and mapping done. The vehicle has error codes, smokes very badly, fumes inside car as well. In short it's a big mess.
Any suggestions as to who can solve this in cape town or in the country. Please.

Who did the work and mapping? they should have cleared codes and made sure the amount of soot is acceptable. Was there any other checks done in terms of intercooler, seals, boost pipes etc.

I am not going to name people. That is not going to solve my issues.
Xcede has been suggested as a problem solver. The thing is I am not trying to boost the power of the car. I just want the issues sorted out so it runs reliably.
Apart from Xcode any other options ?

Naming them might help other customers to not go down the same track...

Not really for now, just take the car to Xcede.
Ask @PPMedia about their service, he asked about service providers in Cape Town, we gave him the names...he went with others and ended up at Xcede with a happy car.
So since you seem like you want to get the ball rolling, and get it fixed quickly, just go to Xcede instead of waiting on others.
If the hardware is in, then it seems it is a matter of reading the mapping values and assessing what is out of whack...while also checking all boost pipes, seals and joins.

It might not solve your issue, but it would assist others in NOT having issues in the future.

Have you approached the company that did the work? The reason why these shady companies still operate is because the crappy work is swept under the carpet and they are never brought to book.

Fumes inside the car reminds me of the E53 X5 i had that had the same issue. Turned out to be a leaking exhaust manifold (the stainless steel manifold is prone to cracking- it has a double skin so it is difficult to repair). Not sure if the twin turbo has the same issue? But worth a look.

Just stop looking and accept your situation. As @AshG108 mentioned I was in your situation a few months ago and much like you I wanted options instead of just listening.

The provider in my case did not do anything wrong though and I can't speak bad about them but Wulfchip never gave me the personal level of advice and service that Xcede gave me. As stated by the other guys, naming the people who did your work might save the next guy on here on school fees, it's important to share your experience with the members coz on here it's not a bunch of keyboard warriors, it's family.

The reality you need to face now is that someone fcked up your car and you ain't happy, you're not gonna get your money back, you might end up taking your car back for them to fix but they might end up causing more problems. Phone Ashley at Xcede, the guy is a wizard and a brother you never had. He goes the extra mile every time and he guides and explains everything in detail along the way. The last time I was there to get my Meth kit installed with a custom map I wanted more boost on the turbo and like the big brother Ashley is he said no, straight forward, who the hell tells a client no? But he did simply because he can't guarantee reliability and that is exactly what they do.

Take your loss and start your journey with Xcede, no use hanging around on here, trust me.
