Hi all.

I’m currently looking at F30 330D’s and happened to come across this one.

91 000km on clock.

I have enquired on the claimed full service history and it was only with BMW until 52 000km.

So it doesn’t have the full franchise service history as claimed and it seems other services were done elsewhere.

Only defect I can see from enquiring and the photos is the arm rest is scratched.

I tried to do a vin check on auto trader but nothing was found.

What are the opinions on this car and what should I look out for when purchasing this car.

Hallo and welcome, take it for a test drive , if close to a delership, go in and ask them for a quote on oil service and if possible a printout of the history on the car. usually stored on the key fob. Next is you could get the vin checked by spietkop @Coisman . they usually great cars. Good luck with your search

Looks like the "330d investment" is doing well  .
Anyways... on to the car in question.

The lack of service history is a concern, however it may have independent services loaded on the idrive history (so maybe check this).
Also, you can never go wrong with a Cois Vin Check as mentioned above.

In terms of condition, it looks like the steering wheel has some wear on it ( common though). The car has definitely been detailed before the pics were taken, given the whiteness of the paint, especially the engine bay.
The front bumper was definitely painted, also, it has the adaptive cruise control radar in the lower grill, but the buttons are missing from the steering wheel.
So Id assume this car had a front accident and it was replaced with the radar grill - so get this checked out proper ( I might be wrong here...but I doubt it )

Good Luck (y)

@BigWes assuming you skipped on the 330d? If not, do so.
@Riaad raised an amazing spot with the front bumper.
Also, if you can, professional navigation (big 8.8" screen and large drive controller are nice to have, considering you interact with it on a daily basis).
And it must come with a boot full of Randelas. They are great cars, and hold value, but this has totally missed the mark with pricing LOL.
GLWS(earch).

Thank you to everyone for your inputs . You guys have taught me to look deeper into these vehicles. I will definitely not be pursuing this vehicle and continuing my search for a better car.

Appreciate all the other suggestions

This is such an awesome community
