Does Porsche not offer any sort of software update? In other words a factory approved remap?
Or maybe even one of those power boxes that you can remove when needed?
Every time i read your post i get anxiety as i just know you would absolutely fall in love with this car even more with a remap. These 3.0TDI's have so much more to give, and from reading up on Q5/Touregs/A4/A5 3.0TDI owners who have remapped their cars say its a night and day difference.

This shaker box is fascinating, but i would be a bit skeptical of it. Definitely dont need something shaking or vibrating anything in the car lol

Pictures from breakfast run to Bronkhorstspruit today.

Again, the Macan excelled with the poor tar road conditions - the plumpy Michelin Latitude tyres on the 18s doing really well. While the sports cars had to slow down for the rutted tar, the Macan powered ahead, making up for time it lost on the smooth roads.

Fuel consumption of 9.3 litres per 100km is still great - in Sport mode all the way

New exhaust to be installed next month.

Exhaust upgrade has been ordered.
Details to follow after fitment and hoping I didn't ruin the car 🫥

Update

Exhaust order has been cancelled.

The Macan is being sold soon back to Porsche, to free up liquidity for another venture (rather, adventure:) )

I really enjoyed this car and mixed emotions with having to let it go after 26,000km and just over a year of fun filled driving and family memories.

On the plus side, my mileage is decent and the offer from Porsche is quite good (high demand for well kept Macan S Diesels on the used market). For what it's worth, no one could match the offer from Porsche - since they really control the low mileage Porsche used market.

Anyway, there is no replacement yet.

My X3 will soldier on as the wife and family transport.

I have other plans for the Z4 (will provide an update on that thread).

Will post a full farewell review on the Macan later this month.

A pity as it seemed you really bonded with this car. Would have been interesting to see what difference the exhaust made
