technical Help! X5 Digital Cluster Problems

So my 2016 F15 X5 cluster started acting up a while ago
Randomly started flickering one night while driving ,
Then each time I start it it’s blank and gradually works itself close to normal and the cycle repeats itself
Has anyone experienced this before ?
I doubt the actual cluster is faulty
And the few folks I’ve asked hasn’t seen this before
I’ve also had a guy check the wiring etc and said nothing is loose on the inside ?

There was someone on one of the international forums or reddit (can't remember) who had something similar happen: It was a GPU failure (the VRAM became faulty and caused artifacting).

Don't know much about car clusters, but on a PC that's either a faulty GPU or faulty monitor.

Yes I think I came across that thread ,
Just weird that it’s such a rare case and no one locally can help me fix it .

Did you run a diagnostic scan, it can also isolate the "short" or fault exists?

I did.
Also removed the cluster to make sure there aren’t any loose connections.

So...Mine had 3 shorts on it....no lose wires...I even checked myself. 2 fuses were gone and on the one speaker, the wire was broken inside but on the outside, perfectly normal hence I recommended that bud.

Hey man.
Yeah I found a replacement cluster on marketplace,
Swapped the control boards over and replaced the unit.
Working perfect now.
