The truth is it's so mileage and condition dependent the question could have any answer from like R120k to probably north of R1m.

Assuming it's the white 4 door in your PP, that's probably the least desirable spec (common colour, and not coupe), so I'd imagine probably towards the R250kish mark is a decent, fair price (assuming it has some miles and is taken care of ok). If it's super clean maybe towards the R350k mark to the right buyer.

Too many variables to say. Coupe's sedans, mileage, originality, spec, service history, ownership history, etc etc all affect asking price. One might go for 80k and another for 400k
100%, i remember going with a friend to see a rough daytona violet one a few years back for 40k, in hindsight i shouldve bought and rescued it but at the time is seemed like i might age early.

As mentioned, post more details and people can probably assist better with a ballpark.

In SA high volume sh*tboxes are advertised as collectors cars so anything is possible with price.

But in general with the E36, the coupe is more desirable than the sedan.

The more proof you have of service history, general maintenance, preventative maintenance and legitimate mileage the more valuable I think a vehicle is. If it’s a low miler then for sure you can ask above the median prices.

Was this not one which was a code 3 in the Eastrand? sounds like the one I viewed many many years ago.

This looks quite clean, I assume it would fetch north of R250k, considering some of the RUBBISH being advertised for far more

Personally, i think the value of these cars are determined more by what preventative maintenance and general maintenance has been done .

I am not trying to knock your potential sale down, but the service book is showing stamps that were done 140000km ago, so what maintenance has been done from the 126000 service to the current 266000km mileage?

Aircon/Hvac issues are costly and time consuming issues to address and if not done by a competent mechanic, will leave the car with annoying rattles. ABS issues are also a big deterrent, so factor that into your possible asking price.

Will agree that the car seems relatively straight but the condition of the steering and the look of the interior does reflect the mileage so i guess it all depends on what you feel is both a realistic and obtainable asking price for your car.
